Business Process Workshops and Programs
Workshops:
Workshops are generic in nature, involving people from many different organizations. They are usually an overview of the subject, either business processes or business continuity plans. They are held at a public location such as a meeting room and last in duration of 3-4 hours.
These are best for associations that have membership from different organizations. A workshop can be customized to your needs.
Programs:
Programs are similar to workshops except they are customized to your organization and its specific issues. You determine who from your organization to invite and we use examples from your specific business in the training. For example, for a process improvement program, we would come to your organization in advance and review one of your processes.
During the program we would discuss how process evaluation and improvement can work specifically for your organization and talk about ways to improve the process currently under review. We would also discuss the best way to document processes for your organization. The actual discussion portion is done in a group setting and lasts approximately 8 hours.
Programs can also be done for your organization’s business continuity planning. These would include people from multiple areas of the organization; business continuity planning is not only a technical function, it includes all areas of the organization.
The programs can include up to 20 people from your organization so everyone will get the same training. A cross-functional section of your organization would be best.
